Enrichment at RP6TH

Our enrichment programme has a wealth of opportunities for student to broaden their experience with us. We have a comprehensive programme to develop our students understanding of the wider world, relationships and health and wellbeing. We have a dedicated five hours per fortnight dedicated to supporting the personal development of our young people, as well as a drop down day each half term to reinforce key themes and offer other opportunities such as practical and off site activities that lend themselves to a day off timetable.

Our students have the opportunity to attend presentations and lectures on a wide variety of diverse topics delivered by external providers from universities or the world of work. Our students also use this time to develop their own learning through Massive Online Open Courses (MOOCs). We currently have students learning short courses in Spanish, first aid and a wide variety of other fields. In addition, we support student health and wellbeing by allocating time for students to be active and take advantage of the sports facilities we have on site.

Academy Spotlight

Owen

RP6TH has given me opportunities such as work experience at Lincoln City Football Club, as well as playing for the RP6TH football team. As part of my student leader role as PE Subject Champion, I have coached the Year 7 football team, helping me gain vital experience in the field of sport, which is the sector I would like to pursue a career in. I have been on trips to Loughborough University to learn about university life, along with more enrichment trips to the escape rooms as part of my business studies course.

We pride ourselves on the bespoke care and support we give to each and every one of our Sixth Form students in relation to their wellbeing.
